The ACHIEVR Privacy Policy defines a set of principles for the privacy of customer and employee data and information. These principles align with national and international best practice, and industry standards and practices.

Implementation of this policy and adherence to its principles facilitates compliance with standard national and international frameworks and best practice.

This policy applies to the privacy of any 3rd party stakeholder information, particularly when it comes to the Internet. This includes information gathered, hosted or published by ACHIEVR on assets including:

We have implemented fair information practices that are designed to protect your privacy.

If you submit identifying data to ACHIEVR via our desktop, mobile, augmented Reality, virtual Reality, or web applications, you agree to our use of such data as described in this Privacy Policy.

Personal information is any information about you, that identifies you or by which your identity can reasonably be ascertained. With web, AR and VR systems this may include behavioural information linked to your user identity. 

Behavioural information is only used to provide course progress to yourself, and your instructor, whether that be an employer or training provider.

ACHIEVR Pty Ltd only collects personal information that is necessary for one or more of its functions or activities. 

We want you to feel confident and assured when using our Google Play Store app, ACHIEVR. Therefore, we want to explicitly state that we do not collect any user data whatsoever. Furthermore, we do not share any data with third parties. Your information remains yours alone, ensuring a safe and private experience as you strive towards your goals with ACHIEVR.

Regardless of how it is collected, all personal information is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Generally, we only collect personal information when you voluntarily supply that information to us, for example by registering on this website, use an ACHIEVR AR/VR training experience, or when you have authorised a third party such as your employer, or training provider, to provide that information to us.

Like most Internet Service Providers (ISPs), to give you access to our website, our ISP needs to collect some information about you. This information is made available to us.

Our ISP also collects information such as the pages our users’ access, the documents they download, links from other websites they follow to reach our website, and the type of browser they use. However, this information is anonymous and is only used for statistical and website development purposes.

ACHIEVR Pty Ltd uses the personal information it holds to provide its clients with the services that they request. ACHIEVR Pty Ltd will not use or disclose personal information collected by us for any purpose other than: the purposes for which it was provided or secondary related purposes in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure; or where you have consented to such disclosure; or where the National Privacy Principles authorise use or disclosure, as required or authorised under law, in circumstances relating to public health and safety and in connection with certain operations by or on behalf of an enforcement body; for example, information may be disclosed to a court in response to a subpoena or to a Government agency upon request; or for the purpose of improving our relationship with you, or to provide you with direct marketing material such as new products, services and research that may be of interest to you, to inform you about any new products and services or special offers from time to time. However, you may, by emailing info@ACHIEVR.io, request not to receive such information and we will give effect to that request.

For example, ACHIEVR Pty Ltd may disclose your personal information to organisations from whom we obtain services such as information technology support, financial and marketing advice, legal advice and the like.  Where a client nominates someone to act on their behalf, ACHIEVR Pty Ltd may provide information to that person, for example, the client's accountant or financial adviser. External service providers will only be authorised to use personal information for the purpose for which we supply it. If ACHIEVR Pty Ltd is unable to use or disclose personal information from or about a client, we may not be able to do business with that client. 

We will always seek to ensure that the personal information collected and held by us is protected from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. At all times your personal information is treated as confidential and stored securely.

If you cease to be a client, any personal information which we hold about you will be maintained for a period of 7 years to comply with legislative and regulatory requirements, following which time the information will be destroyed.

The Internet is not a secure environment. If you use the Internet to send us any information, including your email address, it is sent at your own risk. This includes information sent over the Internet from (native) desktop or mobile applications.

ACHIEVR Pty Ltd will, if we agree that the information requires correcting, take all reasonable steps to correct the information.

If we do not agree that your personal information requires correcting, ACHIEVR Pty Ltd will, if you request, take reasonable steps to ensure that whenever your personal information is accessed or handled in the future, it is apparent that you are not satisfied as to the accuracy or completeness of that information.

We will endeavour to respond to any request for access within 2 weeks, depending on the complexity of the information and/or the request. If your request is urgent, please indicate this clearly.

If you have any complaint, please email info@achievr.io. We will use our best endeavours to resolve any complaint to your satisfaction. However, if you are unhappy with our response, you are entitled to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner or Industry Code adjudicator who may investigate your complaint further. Determinations by The Privacy Commissioner are enforceable by the High Court.

Corporate information (unless it is also about any identifiable person); or if you access another website through a link from ours. In this case the Privacy Policy of the owner of the other website (if any) will apply. We cannot and do not make any warranty or representation as to the practices of any linked websites in the handling of your personal information.
